Strategic Future Planning Workshop held in April

In the middle of April (from the 16th to 19th), dosage Sanjan Nagar Institute of Philosophy & Arts hosted a unique in-house Strategic Future Planning Workshop with five remarkable professionals from the US, UK and Canada. The participants included Hazel Kahan, a communication specialist and radio presenter from New York; Gordon Haight, CEO of Drive Through Media and a publishing expert; Joel Dreyfuss, a prominent journalist and editor based in Paris; John Benjamin, a Business Development & strategic management executive from Canada; and Les Wong, co-owner of Walrus systems and an audio retail specialist from the UK. The event was sponsored by Imran Bajwa, noted businessman and owner of FM 103.

The workshop included a detailed tour of the Institute and presentations by all the departments, as well as working sessions on the products of the Institute, listening sessions on the Bhulley Audio System, musical performances of the SagarVeena by Noor Zehra Kazim, and a fantastic musical collaboration with the famous rock band Noori (Ali Hamza & Ali Noor), Rakae Jamil (Sitarist), Joel Dreyfuss (on double bass), Beena Raza (Sitarist and Educationist), Noor Zehra and Raza Shaukat (Tabla player) recorded in house by Raza Kazim, the Founder and Director of the institute. An exciting photography exhibition of the work of Raza and Rashida Raza (wife of Raza and head of Photography Dept) was also inaugurated at the soon-to-be launched Sanjan Nagar Gallery. The group also got a chance to visit the Sanjan Nagar School (www.snpet.org) and interact with its promising students.

In addition, the guests got a taste of Lahore’s sights and sounds with a picnic lunch at the Lahore Fort, a visit to the Badshahi Mosque, Food Street, the Lahore Museum and Tollinton Market.
